PC Sideloaders

WebLoaders
Browser-based tools that sideload or manage the Quest through WebUSB. Requires a supported browser such as Chrome, Edge, Opera, or Brave.
Note: These will not work in Firefox or Safari because those browsers do not support WebUSB.
Native Quest Tools
Applications that run directly on the headset without a PC companion app.

- Quest Game Patcher [Windows Only] — Patches standalone Quest games to bypass firmware version checks so they run without forced headset updates. The original GitHub release was taken down; an info thread and mirror are available. Reddit thread · Download.
- Quest APK Renamer [Multi-OS] — A desktop utility that renames Quest APK package names for easier app management and conflict avoidance, with a simple drag-and-drop workflow. GitHub.

- ARMGDDN VD BATMaker — A Batmaker to launch games correctly for Virtual Desktop owners. It launches the VD Streamer PC app against the game’s exe, along with arguments when needed. This is for games sourced outside of the ARMGDDN Browser. Those already come with a VD.bat. Simply drag the games exe onto the batmaker exe and follow the prompts. GitHub Download
